Oldsmar is one lush and green town given the number of small and big recreational parks in the neighborhood and the nature parks it contains. This makes Oldsmar a very nice option to have a home in.

 

One of the biggest parks here is the R.E. Olds Park situated on the shores of the Tampa Bay and enhanced by amazing views. Spanning an area of 15 acres this park often plays hosts to the crowds thronging it during Oktoberfest and the Days and Nights, another annual festival which sees the weekends filled to the brim with entertainment, arts and crafts exhibitions, gourmet food stalls among other activities.

 

On other days of the year, the lawns of the park are full of residents of Oldsmar. The park comprises of a 400-foot fishing jetty, shelters and a vast playground. You can picnic on the green grasses of the park, and watch the bay simultaneously.

 

The second park is the Canal Park Sports Complex spanning an area of 37 acres. This is a sports stadium and used by sports groups like the Oldsmar Little League baseball and softball teams, Oldsmar Falcons youth football team and the youth soccer groups. Additionally the park offers facilities like: a baseball, softball, and soccer field for youths and adults, a playground and picnic zone. There is the brand new BMX facility with brilliant lights and sounds system.

 

There is also a wildlife reservation quarter the Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve bought with financial assistance from Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
